Woman Owned Federal Solutions Business Rebrands and Relocates to Northern Virginia

Leticia Tamayo-Albright, President of Tamayo Federal Solutions (TFS) completed the purchase and rebranding of IWON, LLC on June 9, 2014. Leticia is positioning TFS in the Federal marketplace as an EDWOSB with a Seaport-e contract and is preparing to apply for the SBA’s 8(a) program.

MANASSAS, VA – After purchasing IWON, LLC, an existing successful Federal contracting company; President and CEO, Leticia Tamayo-Albright, has rebranded the company as Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC (TFS) to reflect the firm’s growth, her heritage and expanded services.

“Our new name represents my Hispanic heritage and will help potential customers, partners and team members recognize us as a minority owned company,” said Mrs. Albright.  “I am the proud daughter of a Hispanic immigrant, a Navy wife, and seasoned Federal Contracting executive; I feel truly grateful for this opportunity to continue supporting our great nation, and representing the Defense and Hispanic communities I love and respect.”

Founded in 2006 as IWON, LLC; the newly branded Tamayo Federal Solutions is a Seaport-e prime and subcontractor providing the following services: Program Management (PM), Information Technology (IT), Systems Engineering, Logistics and Training services for DoD, Federal agencies and industry partners.  Providing exceptional results and customer satisfaction are the core components in TFS’ successful past performance and all future endeavors.

Mrs. Albright is a multi-discipline professional who has managed more than 300 personnel completing projects in multiple states, and developing business pipelines totaling in the billions of dollars.  Upon joining TFS, Mrs. Albright brought with her some of the most talented individuals and creative teams in the business.  “These dedicated professionals have decades of current, relevant experience which is so critical to our success in today’s Federal competitive marketplace.  To us, a project is much more than just checking the boxes and making the stakeholders happy – it represents the core of who we are.” said Leticia. “I can’t wait to see what the next five or 10 years will bring.”

Leticia Albright, President and CEO, completed her Baccalaureate Degree at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va., in 1993, and returned in 2004 to pursue a Master Certificate in Government Contracting.  Her federal contracting experience is extensive, particularly in the areas program management, business development, contract management, operations, training and logistics.  She has led numerous projects, many of them substantial in size with durations over many years, hundreds of personnel, and hundreds of millions of dollars.
